Klübersynth GEM 4 N was specially developed for the lubrication of spur, bevel, hypoid and planetary gears that are subject to high loads. Such gears are frequently used in the wind, steel, mining and sugar industries. It is also used for the lubrication of standard worm gears as defined in DIN 3996. Klübersynth GEM 4 N can also be used for the lubrication of plain and rolling bearings, all kinds of toothed couplings, chains, guideways, joints, spindles and pumps, especially in applications where the equipment is exposed to elevated temperatures or pronounced temperature fluctuations.

Application Klüber Summit FG 100

Klüber Summit FG oils can be used as vacuum pump oils, evacuating air or inert gases if a food grade oil is required. Klüber Summit FG oils can be used for oil-injected screw-type compressors, reciprocating piston compressors and rotary vane compressors. Klüber Summit FG oils are intended for use in compressors of the food-processing and pharmaceutical industries requiring oilfree compressed air (without oil vapour, which cannot be removed by the oil separator). The Klüber Summit LCG series was developed for application in screw-type compressors working with natural gases or the reactive and corrosive gases encountered in biogas plants, refineries, EOR processes or the chemical industry. Klüber Summit LCG compressor oils do not contain sulphur or any other elements that might react with chlorine-containing components or acidic gases. They can also be used with gases containing chlorine where mineral oils, esters or polyglycols are not suitable for application. Klüber Summit LCG compressor oils protect surfaces against the corrosive effects of acidic gases such as hydrogen sulphide or carbon dioxide. Klüberalfa YM 3-30 N and Klüberalfa YM 3-65 N can be used for the wetting of metals and synthetic material parts of various configurations. Due to their good material compatibility, these products should be your first choice for the vehicle interior. Application examples: – Guide bars of headrests – Impact, rubbing and sliding points, even of various material pairings, to minimise annoying noises in the components such as fittings, sliding guides in the centre console, cup holder, navigation screen, locking mechanism of trays, ventilation outlet valve, etc. General conduct toward synthetic materials and elastomers: Perfluoropolyethers are generally to be classified as widely neutral (possible exception: high fluorinated FKMs) in comparison to elastomers and synthetic materials. Despite this, prior to a series application, the compatibility of the lubricant with the material with which it is to come into contact, must be confirmed.

Application Klüber Summit SH 100

Klüber Summit SH oils have been designed especially for the lubrication of highly loaded, oil-injected screw-type compressors with oil change intervals up to 10,000 operating hours. Klüber Summit SH oils can also be used for compressors that were previously run with mineral oils. They are neutral towards most elastomer seals used in air compressors, therefore leakage is not to be expected. Klüber Summit SH 32 is especially suitable for centrifugal compressors and Klüber Summit SH 100 for reciprocating piston compressors. Klüber Summit SH oils offer good oxidation stability due to the synthetic base oil, thus minimizing oxidation residues in the compressors and extending oil change intervals and the service life of oil filters and separators. Special inhibitors contained in the oils keep the inside of compressors clean. Owing to the evaporation stability of the base oil, the oil vapour content in the compressed air can be considerably reduced compared to conventional mineral oils. This contributes to a reduction of oil consumption and clean compressed air; gumming of pneumatic valves in the compressed air circuit can be prevented as well due to the low oil content of the Klüber Summit SH oils.

Klüber Summit Ultima oils have been especially designed for screw-type compressors subject to high loads. They are used for oil change intervals up to 12,000 operating hours in oilinjected screw-type compressors. Klüber Summit Ultima oils can be used for compressors that were previously run with mineral oils. Klüber Summit Ultima oils are neutral towards most elastomer seals used in air compressors, therefore leakage is not to be expected. Klüber Summit Ultima oils offer better oxidation stability than conventional synthetic oils due to the synthetic base oil content, thus minimising oxidation residues in the compressors and extending oil change intervals and the service life of oil filters and separators. Special inhibitors contained in the oil keep the inside of compressors clean and ensure a high efficiency. Owing to the evaporation stability of the base oil, the oil vapour content in the compressed air can be reduced several-fold compared to conventional mineral oils. This contributes to a reduction of oil consumption and clean compressed air; it also helps to prevent the gumming of pneumatic valves in the compressed air circuit.

Klüber Summit DSL 32 and 46 can also be used for the lubrication of centrifugal compressors, whereas Klüber Summit DSL 68 ... 125 is particularly suitable for the lubrication reciprocating piston compressors. Klüber Summit DSL oils are used for compressors that were previously run with conventional mineral oils. These oils are neutral towards most elastomer seals used in air compressors, therefore leakage is not to be expected. Klüber Summit DSL 32 oils are mainly used in reciprocating piston compressors which do not achieve the desired maintenance intervals when using mineral oils or which show severe residue formation (carbon buildups) on valves and in the compression chamber. Klüber Summit DSL 32, 46, and 68 are biodegradable and can therefore be used in eco-sensitive applications. Klüber Summit DSL oils offer good oxidation stability due to the synthetic base oil, thus minimizing oxidation residues in the compressors and extending oil change intervals and the service life of oil filters and separators (screw-type compressors) and valves (reciprocating piston compressors).
