TEX SYNTHESO M oils meet the requirements of modern mechanical knitting machines running under different operating conditions. The oils are scourable with conventional washing liquors. TEX SYNTHESO oils lubricate and clean the stitchforming elements like needles, sinkers, needle cams, needle cylinders, dials and sinker rings of knitting machines. Owing to the special product formulation and the additives used, these components are kept clean, thus contributing to a smooth operation of the machines. TEX SYNTHESO M oils can be used for flat-bed and circular knitting machines and are available in different viscosity grades. When selecting the viscosity please observe the machine manufacturer's recommendations.

UNISILKON F GLK 112 is primarily used for the lubrication of rubber-metal, plastic-metal or plastic-plastic friction pairings. Possible applications are in slideways, seals (also EPDM), Bowden cables and belt tensioners. In such applications, UNISILKON F GLK 112 reduces friction, thus preventing annoying squeaking noise.

Application Klüber Summit PS 400

Klüber Summit PS oils have been especially designed for the lubrication of screw-type and reciprocating piston compressors. They are used for oil change intervals up to 5,000 operating hours in oil-injected screw-type compressors. Klüber Summit PS oils can be used for compressors that were previously run with conventional mineral oils. These oils are neutral towards most elastomer seals used in air compressors, therefore leakage is not to be expected. Klüber Summit PS oils are used for compressors which do not achieve the desired maintenance intervals when using mineral oils and where the use of fully synthetic oils would be uneconomical due to ingress of contamination or a low number of operating hours per year. Klüber Summit PS 100 can also be used for the lubrication of turbocompressors, whereas Klüber Summit PS 300 and 400 have been especially developed for reciprocating piston compressors. Klüber Summit PS oils offer good oxidation stability due to the synthetic base oil content, thus minimising oxidation residues in the compressors and extending oil change intervals and the service life of oil filters and separators. Special inhibitors contained in the oil keep the inside of compressors clean and ensure a high efficiency.

Klübersynth H2 C 2-260 is intended for use on chains exposed to high temperatures in spiral ovens used in bread/bun baking as well as meat/poultry cooking. These chains are exposed to sliding and rolling friction typically prevailing in traditional roller and skate chains and their guide rails. Klübersynth H2 C 2-260 is used for a sustained temperature of 250 °C while still providing a sufficient lubricating film for the rollers, balls, pins and rails.

The emphasis of application is in the range of easy to medium cutting processes, e.g. in – drilling and boring – milling – sawing. Klübercut CO 6-102 is suitable for a number of metals, particularly for – Al and Al alloys – nonferrous metals but also for – steels – composite materials. As Klübercut CO 6-102 is used undiluted, only a very small quantity is required on the friction point, i.e. the point of contact between the tool and the workpiece. Micro-dosing constitutes a technical progress in the direction of environmental compatibility. The advantages include: – only minute oil residue remains on the swarf; the swarf can be directly transferred to the scrap cycle and be re-used; – no disposal of coolants, no separation and disposal of used emulsions; – clearly improved working environment; almost dry machines and components, less oil mist or oil vapour; – improved tool life and surface quality; the undiluted metalworking oil reduces friction and heat generation.

Due to its good compatibility, Klüberalfa MR 3 may be used in combination with most materials, e.g. leather, textile or plastic, in car interiors or on the car body. Klüberalfa MR 3 is compatible with most thermoplastics or thermosetting plastics used, for example, in dashboards, seat and sunroof sliding rails, arm rests, seat adjustment mechanisms, door and sunroof seals. Perfluorinated polyether oils are generally regarded as neutral towards elastomers and plastics (possible exception: highly fluorinated rubber). Nevertheless we recommend testing compatibility with the material to be used, especially prior to series application.

Klüberfluid 9 R 100 is particularly suitable for automotive brake components. It can also be used as an anticorrosion agent for steel parts, protecting them while in stock and during transport between production and assembly, with the advantage that it does not have to be removed prior to the fitting of SBR and EPDM elastomer parts. When used as an assembly fluid, Klüberfluid 9 R 100 facilitates the precise joining of individual components and thus supports functional reliability, preventing damage to the seals during fitting. Klüberfluid 9 R 100 is used as an assembly aid, anticorrosion agent and functional lubricant, e.g. to attain the roll-back effect of brake pistons. Its excellent wetting properties in conjunction with high lubricity have a favourable effect on initial friction, especially when metal and elastomer materials are paired.
