Houghton Garia 405 M-22

Properties

GARIA 405 M-22 is based on hydro treated mineral oil with low aromatic content. A combination of polar. extreme pressure and anti-wear additives provide the oil with high load carrying properties. The oil provides good surface finish of the machined work pieces.

GARIA 405 M-22 contains active sulphur and may discolour yellow metals.

The oil is zinc and chlorine free.

Applications

GARIA 405 M-22 is the universal oil for the gear shop. It shows excellent performance for the gear grinding as well as for gear hobbing and shaping operations.

GARIA 405 M-22 is used also for the machining of steel and cast iron on automatic turning lathes.

It is suitable for the lubrication of most laboratory and industrial vacuum pumps. Standard Operating Environments. Shell Vacuum Pump Oil S3 RX 100 is suitable for applications where ambient temperatures exceed 0°C and maximum operating temperatures do not exceed 100°C. The vacuum range generally tends to decrease as the operating temperature of the pump increases. Shell Vacuum Pump Oil S3 RX 100 is suitable for vacuum pumps operating between atmospheric pressures of 1 mbar - 10-3 mbar. Properties

The oils show excellent results by working with many difficult operations like broaching, deep-hole drilling, tapping, shaping or shaving of gears.

Application Klüber Tyreno Fluid 3/6V

Klüber Tyreno Fluids are tried-and-tested as filling fluids in mechanical backing pumps, diffusion pumps and turbomolecular pumps by leading OEMs. They are also suitable for pumping gasous oxygen. Klüber Tyreno Fluids have been tested as filling fluids according to the Autogeneous Ignition Temperature (AIT) procedure. Klüber Tyreno Fluids can also be used as vapour-resistant, chemically inert transmission fluid in dry-running screw-type pumps. Klüber Tyreno Fluids can also be used as sliding agent for the lubrication of valves, fittings and installations carrying gaseous oxygen or for chemical plants and apparatus requiring good resistance to various gases (conclusion by analogy based on chemical composition. For this purpose, we recommend users conduct their tests using the complete component under conditions similar to series application.
