Application Klüber Contrakor Fluid H 1

Corrosion preventive for all metallic surfaces, especially on machines, devices, tools, moulds, wire ropes, vehicles, battery terminals. Especially suitable for the long-term preservation of spare parts stored indoors. Rust remover for all parts affected/immobilised by rust, e.g. screw joints, pins, hinges, slides. The fluid spreads well and thoroughly penetrates the affected surfaces. A light rust film will be dis-solved quickly, severe rust takes somewhat longer. Lubricant For chains, bearings, springs, sliding points, wire ropes, antennas and joints. A thin fluid film is sufficient to ensure reliable reduction of friction and wear. Dehydrating oil, moisture repellent for antenna boxes, ignition timers and ignition cables; in general for machines and devices that are frequently operated under open-air conditions. The fluid penetrates beneath moisture and repels water. Contact oil for clamped and screwed electric contacts and couplings. Ensures reliable passage of current and repels water. Machining fluid to provide cooling in machining pro-cesses without a coolant circuit. Helps to preserve tools and work-pieces and leads to better results. Semi-synthetic air compressor oils for oil change intervals up to 5,000 operating hours

Application Klüber Summit PS 150

Klüber Summit PS oils have been especially designed for the lubrication of screw-type and reciprocating piston compressors. They are used for oil change intervals up to 5,000 operating hours in oil-injected screw-type compressors. Klüber Summit PS oils can be used for compressors that were previously run with conventional mineral oils. These oils are neutral towards most elastomer seals used in air compressors, therefore leakage is not to be expected. Klüber Summit PS oils are used for compressors which do not achieve the desired maintenance intervals when using mineral oils and where the use of fully synthetic oils would be uneconomical due to ingress of contamination or a low number of operating hours per year. Klüber Summit PS 100 can also be used for the lubrication of turbocompressors, whereas Klüber Summit PS 300 and 400 have been especially developed for reciprocating piston compressors. Klüber Summit PS oils offer good oxidation stability due to the synthetic base oil content, thus minimising oxidation residues in the compressors and extending oil change intervals and the service life of oil filters and separators. Special inhibitors contained in the oil keep the inside of compressors clean and ensure a high efficiency.

Application Aeroshell Fluid 31

AeroShell Fluid 31 is recommended for use in aircraft, ordnance, and missile systems operating from –400 C to +2050 C . This fluid should be considered for use in auto pilots, shock absorbers, brakes, flight control systems, hydraulic servo-controlled systems and other systems using synthetic elastomer seals. An increasing number of aircraft manufacturers now recommend use of this type of fluid in aircraft hydraulic systems in preference to mineral hydraulic oils. This move has been prompted by need to use fluids with better fire resistant properties. AeroShell Fluid 31 is also approved for use in the Honeywell (formerly Garrett) cooling turbine (cabin air compressors). Increasingly this type of hydraulic fluid is being adopted for use in hydraulic systems of military aircraft in place of mineral hydraulic fluids. AeroShell Fluid 31 is a synthetic hydrocarbon oil and should not be used in contact with incompatible seal materials. AeroShell Fluid 31 is compatible with AeroShell Fluids 4, 41, 51, 61 and 71 and can be used in systems designed to operate with MIL-PRF-5606, MIL-PRF-6083, MIL-PRF-87257 and MILPRF-46170 fluids. Chlorinated solvents should not be used for cleaning hydraulic components which use AeroShell Fluid 31. The residual solvent contaminates the hydraulic fluid and may lead to corrosion.

High-temperature lubricating oil

Application Klüber HOTEMP 2000

HOTEMP 2000 is used for lubrication points subject to high thermal loads as are common in chains, slideways, gears, wire ropes, guideways or cams. It is not washed off and penetrates well into chain joints and friction points. HOTEMP 2000 is preferably used for temperatures up to approx. 250 °C. A durable, load-carrying lubricant film is attained even at these high temperatures.

Mobilgrease XHP 460 greases are used in a wide range of equipment including industrial, automotive, construction and marine applications. The blue color of Mobilgrease XHP 461 and 462 enables easy verification of application. With its high, ISO VG 460 base oil viscosity, these greases are recommended for high load applications at slow-to-moderate speeds, including most bearing applications in the paper, construction, and mining industries, as well as off-highway vehicles. Specific applications: Mobilgrease XHP 461 is recommended by ExxonMobil for use in industrial and marine applications, chassis components and farm equipment. It provides excellent low temperature performance. It is satisfactory for low speed flexible gear-type couplings. Mobilgrease XHP 462 Series is recommended for use in felt roll bearings, wet end bearings, and press section bearings. It is also a good multi-purpose grease for general mill applications and industrial and marine applications, chassis components and farm equipment. Mobilgrease XHP 462 Moly is fortified with 3% molybdenum disulfide and is particularly recommended by ExxonMobil for applications such as bucket pins and fifth wheels, where molybdenum disulphide provides an extra level of protection where sliding friction and oscillating motion can lead to rupturing of the oil film, resulting in metal to metal contact.
