- Shell Rimula R3 NX is specifically designed for use in heavy duty gas engines. Due to the specially tuned composition, gas engines are prevented from polluting internally under the influence of the high combustion temperature.
- The low-ash formulation prevents the formation of ash-like deposits on the piston, combustion chamber and valves. Keeping ash deposits in the combustion chamber free prevents premature ignition of the fuel mixture by glowing ash particles and therefore a long-term trouble-free engine, requiring less maintenance on valves and spark plugs.
- Shell Rimula R3 NX gives very good protection against wear and protects the engine internally against corrosion.
