Excellent low-temperature fluidity thanks to an extremely low pour point.
Maintains system efficiency
Good thermal oxidation stability ensures long-lasting protection of system components.
Minimized environmental impact
Recommended for use in ecologically sensitive areas: reduces ecological impact in case of leakage or loss during operation in marine or off-road environments, compared to conventional mineral oils. Readily biodegradable – more than 60% within 28 days according to OECD 301 B. Low ecotoxicity – classified as ‘non-harmful’ according to WAF tests (OECD & EPA).
Applications
Shell PANOLIN Biofluid ZFH is designed for use in transmissions, hydraulic systems, wet brakes, and PTO systems of agricultural tractors and construction equipment.
WARNING! Not suitable for use as engine oil.
Compatibility and Miscibility
Shell PANOLIN fluids are miscible with mineral oils. However, to ensure biodegradability and performance, systems must be thoroughly drained and flushed before conversion. After conversion, it is recommended to analyse an oil sample to confirm suitability.
Health, Safety and Environment of Shell PANOLIN Biofluid ZFH
When used as directed and with proper hygiene, this product poses no significant risks. Avoid skin contact; wear oil-resistant gloves and wash skin immediately with water and soap if contact occurs. Additional information is available on the safety data sheet at https://www.epc.shell.com.
