Application Klüberalfa DH 3-230
Sintered metal components Klüberalfa DH 3 oils are used for the impregnation of sintered metal plain bearings subject to high temperatures where longterm lubrication is required. Due to their high thermal and chemical stability, additional lubrication with, for example, MIKROZELLA is normally not necessary. Plastic components Klüberalfa DH 3 oils are suitable for the lubrication of both plastic components and metal-plastic sliding contact surfaces. These clear, colourless and odourless oils do not form unwanted resins. Klüberalfa DH 3 oils are generally regarded as neutral towards elastomers and plastics (possible exception: perfluorinated rubber), so no negative effect on the material is to be expected. Nevertheless compatibility with the materials should be tested, especially prior to series application.

Klüberalfa HL 3 Fluids should be used where lifetime lubrication is desired in combination with stringent operational requirements, such as: – wide ranging extremes of temperature – high vacuum – influence by aggressive chemicals – compatibility with wide ranging elastomer types Thanks to their low evaporation rate, Klüberalfa HL 3 Fluids are also suitable for sensitive applications in clean rooms and in the optical and electronics sectors. When used in sintered metal plain bearings, Klüberalfa HL 3 Fluids excel by means of their low friction coefficients across a wide service temperature range. Behaviour towards elastomers and plastics Perfluorinated polyether oils (PFPE) are generally regarded as neutral towards elastomers and plastics (possible exception: perfluorinated rubber). Nevertheless compatibility with the materials should be tested, especially prior to series application.

Application Klüber Klüberalfa YV 93-1202
Klüberalfa YV 93-1202 is used as a sliding agent for the lubrication of valves, fittings and installations carrying gaseous and/or liquid oxygen, in individual cases subject to gas pressures considerably above 300 bar, or in chemical installations and equipment requiring high resistance to various gases. (Conclusion by analogy based on chemical composition. We recommend users conduct their own component tests using the complete component under conditions similar to series application). The product's high pressure-absorption capacity and consistent friction values over a wide temperature range ensure constant actuation forces. Test results show the product's usability for an O2 content > 21 % by vol. under operating conditions specified in the product data section of this product information leaflet. Possible applications are: – Oxygen valves – Peripheral aggregates of chemical installatons – Hose couplings, e.g. oxygen pipe connections, sliding and plain bearings, bolts, slideways, etc. – Steel and heavy industry – Assembly aid for most rubber-elastic materials and plastics – For industrial handling, maintenance and care of oxygen components Behaviour towards metal, elastomers and plastics Klüberalfa YV 93-1202 is normally neutral towards metallic materials, plastics and elastomers within the envisaged temperature range. Nevertheless, we recommend checking the compatibility of the sliding agent with materials prior to the introduction of this product.

Klüberalfa KR 3-730 is suitable for the large-batch oiling of plug-in contacts of different shapes and materials which have to the meet high requirements in e.g. telecommunications, automation technology or car manufacture. In-house tests have shown that the protecting effect of Klüberalfa KR 3-370 is best on lead-free tin alloys. Optimum results are achieved with contact forces below 5 N.
