Quaker and Houghton have merged to form Quaker Houghton. They were already two very big players in metalworking fluids and now together they are the world's largest producer of metalworking fluids.

They have a very extensive portfolio and a lot of experience and large R&D capacity. This allows them to offer metalworking fluids for Aerospace, Industry, Forming Industry and Metal Protection. The recent merger has created an overlap in the portfolio of these two giants. Thus, a portfolio realignment with name changes is to be expected.
